From top to bottom this image is staggering. From the variants of crystal formations of different shapes and sizes, complexity and lighting. Then to the statue's face solid and forever staring directly at the viewer, almost lifeless with its eternal intent. Then to the side of this solid piece to the background, with its simple mountain scape and brilliantly lighted sky. These both not only add to the picture but shift the focus to the middle, were it should be. Then also to the bottom where we see a placid like rippling ever so gently and steadily, along a pebbled shore. Kind to the eye but also ingeniously done to shift attention upwards. All in all a beautifully done piece.
